Jewish Values
An important focus of Tizmoret Shoshana is the development of participants' spiritual commitment. Daily times are reserved for prayer and Torah study, and Shabbat is observed with services, discussion groups and presentations by scholars-in-residence. Families of participants and the community are invited to join in a Shabbaton during the program's final Shabbat. (An additional fee applies for guests and day campers.)

The intent of Tizmoret Shoshana is to provide a setting in which the Torah-observant girl can explore and develop her unique talents. The required dress code is knee-length skirts and shirts with sleeves and tznius (modest) necklines. Food is under the strict rabbinical supervision of the Star-K.

The serene and natural setting of the Pearlstone Conference and Retreat Center serves as an inspiring backdrop for the integration of spiritual expression and artistic development. In an informal setting conducive to exploration and self-discovery, participants are encouraged to explore what it means to be a Jewish artist.
