Location and Accomodations

Tizmoret Shoshana takes place at the Pearlstone Conference and Retreat Center, which is nestled in the rolling farmlands of Reisterstown, Maryland, less than 30 minutes from Baltimore. Pearlstone’s serene, natural setting serves as an inspiring backdrop for the integration of artistic and spiritual pursuits.

Participants are housed in dormitory-style rooms with both bunk beds and twin beds. Most bathrooms are shared. A central lounge serves as a focal point for group activities. Nutritious kosher meals are served in a communal dining room. All food is under the strict rabbinical supervision of the Star-K.

An exercise room with treadmills and gym equipment is available for the use of participants. Several wooded trails meander through the undeveloped parts of property. Supervised swimming is available exclusively for the girls in a large outdoor pool.

Kayam Farm, a working organic farm on the Pearlstone property, provides fresh vegetables for the dining room, and Kayam staff lead various outdoor activities for the girls, centering on the farm and the local environment.

Laundry facilities are available.
